We post throughout Australia using Australia Post using eco postage mailers. Look out for the lilac mailers in the post.
We are a small team, please allow 3-4 days to process your order.
All deliveries use Australia Post. We will provide you with a tracking number to track your delivery and they will confirm your parcels arrival date.
Standard post free is $10.
Express post fee is $15
Free Express Post postage on orders over $100
If somebody is not home to collect the item, it will be sent to the nearest Australia Post Office.
Please note, The Lilac Closet is not responsible for any delays in delivery. Once an order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking details.
Once an item has been posted the delivery address cannot be changed.

All prices online are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Payment in full must be received in order for an item to be dispatched via post.
We will happily return orders within 14 days of purchase. Full refund or store credit will be given (at your election) provided that the conditions in this policy are satisfied.
All items must be in original sale condition when returned, unwashed, unused.
Returns are made via mail and never in person. The Lilac Closet is not liable for lost or damaged items or delays for items returned. Please retain your postage tracking information.
We are not responsible for any lost or stolen deliveries. Please retain your tracking number so that we can help you track down any missing parcels.
Vintage sizing is unique and we will do our best to size the items as clearly as possible. Size comparisons are made in AU sizing (equal to UK sizing). We also offer measurements for further accuracy. Email us directly about an item if you have a question about sizing.
Our clothing is graded according to quality. We aim to sell items that are all in great condition. Excellent quality is our highest grading, for items that show little signs of wear and use. Very Good quality is for items that are still ini great condition but show a little more signs of wear. Please note that all items are second-hand so some visible wear or imprecation is to be excepted.
How to return an item
Please contact our office at thelilacclosetau@gmail requesting a return, with your order number and reason for return. They will be in touch with your Return Authorisation number (RA) and details on how to return the item.
Please allow for approx. 5 days for your item to be returned and received. You will be notified once it has been processed.
Your payment will be returned via the original method of payment.
We do not cover costs for return postage on items, it is the customers responsibility. This also applies to parcels sent out with free postage.

Goods must be packed securely in a postage bag with your original tax invoice inside. Pack with original wrapping paper or similar wrapping.
